Hey there! So if you’ve been following my posts (which I highly doubt) you’ll know I like to write a little story that I like to call Whispers In The Wind and I’ve finally finished the third chapter that I would like to share with you today! First I’d like to thank Eva Russo for liking on of my posts and thank Kendall F.Person for following me. Anyway, here is the third chapter of Whispers In The Wind.
The smell of sausages and rashers brought me down the stairs the next morning.
In the kitchen was a plate of toast, sausages, rashers and fried egg o it. I was ready to dig in when I found a note from my mother saying: Gone out to get milk and bread.
As I sat there eating I realized how crazy all this was. All of a sudden one day Mum just decides to quit her job and the next day we move to a whole other place, leaving our average day-to-day lives behind.
I finished my little daydream and went upstairs to change. I thought about taking a walk to take my mind of things but as I came out of my room my eyes glared at the door across from me. I had to know what was in there and how it knew my name.
I walked over and peered through the key hole again. Except this time instead of seeing the blue wall and bookshelf, all I saw was red. Just red. What happened to the blue wall and the bookshelf? I started to feel dizzy. I had to get out of this weird house.
I started walking down the stairs.
I nearly fell over my own feet. What was that whisper? Could it be my own imagination playing tricks on me?
“Victoria!” I heard again.
It was coming from the room. My heart started to beat faster and louder. What was it? I’ve never been so scared in my life.
I started to walk towards the door for some unknown reason. Whispers were coming from…the walls? Sweat started rolling down my forehead like a waterfall. I gulped and opened the door. There was nothing. The bookshelf, the blue wall, the closed cracked window.
What was the red thing?
Then I realized something that made me want to puke with fear. The door had been locked before.
What the hell was going on? I ran down the stairs and out the door, still holding my breath. Tears started rolling down my cheeks.
I hated this place.
Author’s note: I know this chapter is really short and I always try to make it longer but it never really turns out the way I want it but anyway, there! I really hope you’re enjoying my book and please vote, comment, follow me and thanks for reading! Bye! ❤
